Give Me One!

Some friends of mine were clearing a house overseas and as one came upon a door he yelled, "Give Me One!" He had to stay focused on the possible threat in front of him so he did not look back to see if help was coming. However, when he felt the tap of the hand on his shoulder the two men entered and cleared the room. They finished that mission and everyone came home.
Give me one is what you say when you need a teammate to help clear a room. We also say it when any number of tasks that need completing with a sense of urgency and pride. Why? Because that is what a soldier does...Get the Job Done. We have no need for whiners or robots. We want men and women who are willing to learn how to provide solutions necessary to exceed the standards. These are the men and women that make our military the most formidable in the world.
Disclaimer: Understand that we speak from a combat arms point of view. No matter the technology or the politics, there always has to be a guy on the ground to kick down the door or take and hold some real estate. We understand that it is unnatural to help everyone, so we do not.
Our purpose is to help educate future and current members of the United States Army, so they can make educated decisions on whether or not to join or stay in the service.
We enjoy training and mentoring people that want learn how to complete the mission while taking care those they lead instead of looking for the next promotion.
These are some pointers I received from a friend of ours who exceeds the standard when it comes to completing the mission and bringing the boys back home.
The Constitution of the United States gives every citizen the right to disagree with how we do business on our site. However, understand that if you do not offer a solution keep any negative comments to yourself. Some of our friends have paid the ultimate price doing what they loved to do and this is a way to help fellow Americans like us who might have to pay the same price.
Besides, it is just not polite to be rude for the sake of being rude.
